Sharing the Message of Jesus Across Our Communities
This Passover, CRC Cares had the privilege of reaching 3,664 children across Bloemfontein, Pretoria and Johannesburg through our community outreaches.
Our teams reached 1,672 children in Bloemfontein, 643 in Pretoria and 1,349 in Johannesburg, visiting schools and crèches to share the message of Jesus Christ, His death and His resurrection.
As part of each outreach, children received an Easter egg and a special cross key-chain. Each cross was individually hand-painted by members of our church, with the words “Jesus Loves You” written on them; a simple reminder that every child is seen, loved and valued by God.
We also made sure that our own community children were included, blessing the children in Kids Church and at Talitha Cumi.
The outreaches were filled with more than just gifts. They created opportunities to share the hope of the Gospel and celebrate the true meaning of Easter with children in our communities.
At Talitha Cumi, the children enjoyed a fun-filled Easter party complete with an exciting Easter egg hunt. In Pretoria, the children at the crèches also enjoyed a day of fun activities, laughter and celebration. Through these outreaches, we were able to bring joy to thousands of children while pointing them to the greatest message of all: Jesus died and rose again, because He loves us.
