A Call To Eradicate

Poverty

In 1994, CRC Cares began as a Christian community outreach program with a simple mission: to care for the poor and offer hope to those in need. What started as a local act of love has grown into a registered Non-Profit Company (NPC) transforming lives across Southern Africa and beyond.

Our History and Values

CRC Cares was founded in 1994 in Bloemfontein under the visionary leadership of Pastor At Boshoff and has been shaped by the enduring legacy of his mother, Ma Boshoff, whose compassion and commitment to the vulnerable laid a strong foundation for the organisation’s heart and direction. What started as small outreaches by members of Christian Revival Church has grown to what we see in CRC Cares today. CRC Cares operates under experienced executive leadership, supported by a dedicated management team and a national volunteer network committed to ethical governance, operational excellence and sustainable community transformation. Built on decades of faithful service and structured growth, CRC Cares continues to evolve as a trusted partner in driving measurable social impact across South Africa.

OUR PARTNERS

CRC Cares partners with corporate organisations seeking to create meaningful, measurable and sustainable social impact aligned with their CSI, ESG and B-BBEE objectives. Through structured collaboration and transparent programme implementation, we provide opportunities for businesses to invest in initiatives that restore dignity, empower communities and drive longterm transformation. One of the key strengths of CRC Cares is our ability to mobilise thousands of volunteers nationally, enabling large-scale community initiatives, rapid response outreach programmes and meaningful employee volunteer engagement opportunities for our partners.

Our Volunteers

Volunteers are at the heart of CRC Cares. Across South Africa, thousands of individuals generously give their time, skills and resources to serve vulnerable communities and support the work of CRC Cares. Their compassion, commitment and willingness to act make it possible for the organisation to extend its reach and impact far beyond what would otherwise be possible. From community outreach initiatives and feeding programmes to mentoring youth, supporting children in care and assisting at fundraising events, our volunteers play a vital role in bringing practical help and hope to those who need it most. The strength of CRC Cares lies in our ability to mobilise a large and dedicated volunteer network, enabling us to respond quickly to community needs and deliver large-scale initiatives with efficiency and care. Through this collective effort, thousands of lives are impacted each year.
